If something happens, every minute counts

At Böse Buben, people come to party, play and sometimes get pretty carried away. Wherever many people come together, however, a medical emergency can happen.

We don't want to dramatize this – but we do want to be prepared. That is why we have installed an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It is available at the club and can be used in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.

The AED was made possible through generous financial support from Folsom Europe e.V. For that, we say: Thank you!

If someone collapses

Please don't just carry on.

You don't have to be a doctor or a first-aid professional. What matters first is that someone takes action:

  • Call 112
  • Get help
  • Stay with the person
  • Start chest compressions
  • Get the AED
The AED provides spoken instructions and determines itself whether an electric shock is required.

In the club, too:

  • One person helps
  • One calls 112
  • One gets the AED
  • One clears the way for the emergency services.

If several people are present, these tasks can be carried out simultaneously.

Please don't look the other way

Unfortunately, we have experienced situations where a medical emergency was ignored by people nearby and everything simply carried on. Perhaps because they were unsure what to do. Perhaps because they didn't know how to help. Or perhaps because they assumed that someone else would take care of it.

Please don't rely on that.

If you notice that someone clearly needs medical assistance, stop what you're doing for a moment and help make sure that help is provided. You don't have to be a professional. Doing nothing is the real problem.

Our emergency plan

So that you don't have to figure out what to do in an emergency, we have put the most important steps together on one page.

Please take two minutes to have a look at it. Hopefully, you will never need it.

But if you do, it's good to know what to do.

A request to everyone

As a club, we can prepare a lot: first-aid equipment, an AED, clear procedures and a team that knows what to do.

What we need in an emergency are people who notice, care and act.

Thank you for helping us make sure that our club remains a place where we don't just celebrate together, but also look out for one another.
